Jarmo Hiltunen is a Finnish log builder and author known for his expertise in traditional Northern European timber and log construction techniques. He has written several comprehensive books on the subject and continues to preserve and revive these techniques through his writing, teaching and use of modern tools and 3D visualizations. Although his embraces modern tools, his favorite remains a century-old Billnäs broad axe.
