Langberg Log Homes Ltd. is a well-established log home builder serving the Rocky Mountain House and Nordegg area and beyond. Started in 2001, we remain a small family owned and operated company.
The main reason we have chosen to minimize the size of our business is that our mandate is to treat log building as an art form – both aesthetically and technically. The quality of our work is of the utmost importance to us because we build homes with the intention of having them last for generations.
While we do use pine logs when necessary, an integral part of our finely crafted homes is the use of premium quality Western Red cedar and Douglas fir logs. Harvested from the coastal and interior regions of British Columbia, these logs are specifically selected for their size, straight grain, and minimal taper. Use of high quality wood minimizes cracking and settling and guarantees a top quality home that will hold its value and beauty.
We specialize in building the log portion of a log or post and beam home although we often do additional work on homes when the site is close to Rocky Mountain House or Nordegg. It has been our privilege to be a part of projects that vary from cozy log cabins to large second homes and to work with a wide clientele, many of whom we now value as friends.
